Bodice construction

Our manufacturer adds 10 bones to the bodice of most bridal gowns, so the bodice of our bridal gowns are very strong. For cheaply made bridal gowns, there are much less bones used, and some even have no bones at all.

Bone 8 & bone 3 are 1.2cm wide, and other bones are 0.6cm wide.

Bodice boning

Our manufacturer adds horse hair interlining all around the hemline of bridal gowns. This fixes the shape of train and hemline. Cheaply made gowns definitely do not have this hemline enhancement.

hemline

Our manufacturers only use Japan made Matsuno beads (also called MGB beads). This is the top quality beads in the beading industry, and the price is 15 times higher than the beads on cheaply made bridal gowns. Cheap beads would turn dark after 3-6 months.

All the beading work on our bridal gowns are stitched by hand. The following picture shows some beading samples.

The construction of our gowns:

Our manufacturer uses at least 4 layers of fabrics (not including the interlining 3 around neckline) to make the bodice of bridal gowns. For cheaply made bridal gowns, there are only 2 layers of fabrics (satin and lining), and some even have no lining. With 2 layers of interlining, the bodice part of our bridal gowns are very firm. Also added is another layer of interlining around neckline to make this part of dress extra solid. As we know some of the "so called" designer dresses have only 1 layer of interlining.

In order to see clearly, red satin and lining were used in this example.
